Our 6-step process

How safe asbestos removal actually works.

Asbestos work is heavily regulated, and for good reason. Our process follows every step, from the first sample to the final air-clearance test, so your home is genuinely safe afterward.

Step 01

Inspection & sampling

We identify suspect materials, popcorn ceilings, old flooring, pipe insulation, and collect samples for lab testing. Nothing gets disturbed until we know exactly what we are dealing with.

Accredited lab testing · results before any work
Step 02

Removal plan & notification

Based on the lab results, we build a removal plan and file the required regulatory notifications. You get a clear scope of what will be removed and how.

Permitted & notified · per EPA & state rules
Step 03

Containment & negative air

We seal off the work area with containment barriers and HEPA negative-air machines so fibers cannot escape into the rest of your home.

Sealed containment · HEPA negative air
Step 04

Safe removal

Crews in full PPE wet-remove the material under strict protocols, keeping fibers down and contained the entire time. No shortcuts, because this is the part that matters most.

Wet-removal protocol · full PPE crews
Step 05

Sealed disposal

All material is double-bagged, labeled, and hauled to a licensed disposal facility, with the manifest documented for your records.

Licensed disposal · documented manifest
Step 06

Air clearance testing

An independent test confirms the air is clear before we tear down containment. You only move back in once the numbers prove it is safe.

Independent clearance · safe to reoccupy

Common questions

What Utah homeowners ask about asbestos.

Answers from twenty-five years of jobs across the Wasatch Front.

How do I know if I have asbestos?
You cannot tell by looking. Asbestos was common in homes built before the 1990s, popcorn ceilings, old vinyl flooring, pipe insulation, and more. The only way to know is lab testing, which is exactly where we start.
Is asbestos always dangerous?
Asbestos is mainly a hazard when it is disturbed and fibers become airborne. Intact, undisturbed material is often best left alone or sealed. If you are remodeling, demolishing, or it is already damaged, that is when removal matters. We help you decide based on testing.
Can I remove asbestos myself?
You should not. Disturbing it without containment and the right protocols can contaminate your whole home and put your family at risk, and improper disposal is illegal. Licensed abatement exists for a reason. Keep the area undisturbed and call us.
How much does asbestos removal cost?
It depends on the material and the area. A popcorn ceiling might start around $1,500 to $3,000, and larger jobs cost more. We test first and give you a fixed written quote before any removal, so you only pay to abate what is actually there.
How long does abatement take?
Lab results take a day or two. Most residential removals take one to three days of work, plus the independent clearance test afterward. We give you the full timeline with your quote.
How do I know my home is safe afterward?
We do not tear down containment until an independent air-clearance test confirms fiber levels are safe. You get that documentation, along with the disposal manifest, for your records.
