Terms & Conditions
These are the terms that apply when you use the Quality Restoration website or hire us for a restoration job. By using our website or our services, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain English wherever we could.
01. Acceptance of terms
By accessing our website (qrestore.com), requesting an estimate, or hiring Quality Restoration for any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or our services.
These Terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your personal information.
02. Services we provide
Quality Restoration provides residential and commercial water damage restoration, fire and smoke damage restoration, mold removal and remediation, storm damage cleanup, sewer backup cleanup, and related insurance documentation. Specific services vary by job and are described in the written estimate and scope of work you receive before any work starts.
03. Estimates & pricing
On-site estimates are free and carry no obligation. We provide a written scope of work and cost estimate based on what we observe and measure during inspection. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Costs can change. If we discover additional damage or required work during the job, common when hidden moisture or structural issues are uncovered, we'll provide a written change order and your approval before proceeding. Final billing reflects actual work performed.
04. Working with your insurance
When your loss is covered by insurance, we work directly with your carrier on your behalf. This means:
- We document the loss in your carrier's format and submit it to your adjuster.
- We write a scope of work and bill the carrier directly for approved work.
- You're responsible for your deductible and any work the carrier doesn't approve.
- If you accept work that isn't covered by your insurance, you're personally responsible for paying that portion.
We don't guarantee that any specific loss will be covered, or that your carrier will pay any particular amount. Coverage decisions belong to your insurance carrier.
05. Payment terms
Payment is due upon completion of the work, unless otherwise specified in writing. For insurance claims, payment is typically due when the carrier remits payment to you or directly to us. Past-due balances accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by Utah law.
We accept payment by check, ACH, credit card (3% processing fee), and direct insurance billing. We do not accept cryptocurrency or wire transfers without prior arrangement.
06. Warranty
We warrant our workmanship for one (1) year from the date of completion, against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by subsequent water intrusion, fire, mold growth from new sources, or other new events.
- Normal wear and tear, settling, or aging of materials.
- Damage from third parties or events outside our control.
- Pre-existing conditions not addressed by our scope of work.
To make a warranty claim, contact us at (801) 922-9130 within the warranty period. We'll inspect and, if the claim is covered, perform necessary repairs at no charge.
07. Limitations of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Utah law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
This limitation does not apply to claims arising from gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under Utah law.
08. Your responsibilities
To enable us to do our job well, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the damage, the property, and the situation.
- Grant us reasonable access to the affected areas during normal working hours.
- Notify us of any known hazards on the property (asbestos, lead paint, structural concerns, etc.) before work starts.
- Not interfere with our crew, our equipment, or our work.
- Pay invoices according to the agreed-upon terms.
09. Cancellation
You may cancel a job before work begins without penalty by notifying us in writing. If you cancel after work has started, you're responsible for the value of work performed and any materials or equipment we've committed to the job in good faith.
For emergency dispatches, mobilization charges may apply if you cancel after our crew is en route or on-site. We'll be upfront about this when you call.
10. Photos & portfolio use
By default, we may use non-identifying photos of completed work, equipment setups, before/after shots of damaged areas, generic interior views, for portfolio, training, and marketing purposes. We never use:
- Photos showing your face, family members, or identifiable personal belongings without your written consent.
- Photos showing your address, identifying property features, or anything that could compromise your privacy.
- Your name or specific address in any marketing materials without permission.
If you'd like to opt out of any photo use at all, let us know in writing before or during the job and we'll comply.

14. Dispute resolution
If a dispute arises between us, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the issue informally by contacting us at (801) 922-9130 or hello@qrestore.com. We're a small business and we genuinely want to make things right when something goes wrong.
If informal resolution fails, any unresolved dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, held in Utah County, Utah. Either party may seek small claims court remedies as an alternative for qualifying claims.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any legal action that is not subject to arbitration must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through our website or by email. Continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect. The unenforceable provision will be replaced with an enforceable provision that comes closest to its original intent.
